BEST FRIENDS WALK
March 20 @ 7:00 am - 10:00 am

An occasion to visit nature with your best dog and human friends! John Burroughs described the dog as the “ideal walking companion” in Ways of Nature in 1905. We will visit this spectacular nature preserve that was a JB favorite in all four astronomical seasons this year to prove that point. There are a variety of trails on 142 acres with lots of interesting spots to view birds and nature at its finest. Black Creek Preserve, Winding Brook Road, Esopus, NY 12429 (off 9W), meet in parking area.
*Dogs only welcome, please be reasonably behaved and mostly friendly with other dogs and humans. 🐾
**Note: Please do join even if you don’t have a dog, sometimes it’s nice just to play with other people’s puppies!
***Bring binoculars, scopes (and poop bags), there are fantastic river views! => Please register at susan.begnal@gmail.com
