OPEN DISCOVERY AT JOPPENBERGH MOUNTAIN
September 23, 2017 @ 5:00 am - 8:00 am
Joppenbergh Mountain has experienced a lot of geological, biological and human history. Join amateur naturalist Lynn Bowdery in a slow ramble about this fascinating formation in the heart of Rosendale, looking at and discussing whatever catches our attention. Meet at Willow Kiln Park, behind the Rosendale Theater, off of Main Street. We will be on trails unless something off the trail beckons, and there might be ticks, so wear sensible shoes and pants that can be tucked into socks. Binoculars and/or magnifying glasses will be useful. Rain cancels. Please email lynn@bowderys.com to sign up.
