OPEN DISCOVERY AT JOPPENBERGH MOUNTAIN
April 15, 2018 @ 5:00 am - 9:00 am

Join Lynn Bowdery on a walk up to the lookout point on Joppenbergh Mountain and search for spring ephemerals, early migrants and soaring raptors, emerging plant life, and all that points to spring’s arrival. Of course, we can examine and discuss anything else that catches out attention. The path to the lookout rises a modest 200 feet in elevation but is steep and rocky in a few places- wear good shoes and bring hiking poles if you use them. We will meet in the parking area by Willow Kiln Park, behind Rosendale Theater, accessed by narrow Hardenburgh Lane, at 9:00AM and plan to end at 12 noon. Please tell Lynn (845-255-6690, lynn@bowderys.com) if you will be coming. Rain cancels.
