TAKING FLIGHT: BIRDING IN THE CATSKILLS
June 8, 2017 - June 11, 2017
The Catskill Center will be presenting the second ever birding conference in the Catskills. The 2017 Taking Flight: Birding in the Catskills will happen June 9, 10 and 11. This year we will be at the YMCA property known as Frost Valley in Claryville, NY. We have already lined up a great cast of presenters, workshops and walks. Our keynote speaker on Friday will be Brian “Fox” Ellis who will address the gathering in the persona of John J. Audubon. Brian will also lead a walk Saturday morning. Then Saturday night’s keynote speaker will be Richard Crossley, author of the Crossley bird guidebook series. Richard will host a walk on Sunday morning.
